When I was younger, my Mom used to repeat one phrase over and over again to me and my three siblings. It was that “if you buy cheap, you get cheap.” And so it began... my love affair with high quality goods and services. When I decided to launch my wedding photography business at the age of 20 while I was still in college, there was going to be no exception to the rule my mother had engraved so well into our minds. I wholeheartedly believe that one of the biggest (and best) parts of my job is to deliver the highest quality service and products to you & yours. After all is said and done, the products and photographs you receive will hang in your home, will be shared by many, and will lead to many conversations.
As you and your family reflect on this celebration, I want you to remember why your heads were thrown back in laughter. I want you to see that your wedding was the beginning of a meaningful legacy, and to look back on photographs that captured the in-between moments unnoticed by everyone except the two of you, and myself. I believe the best photographs are taken when you aren’t aware the camera is being directed your way, when you are relishing in the celebration of moments, big and small. When you hire me, you are not only inviting me to celebrate every minute of your day with you, but you are commissioning me to produce the newest pieces of art for the walls of your home, and the homes of those who will cherish these memories, too.
The style of my work is timeless, elegant, and romantic. It will be an authentic reflection of your wedding day. Take a look through my galleries to get a better idea to get an idea of to expect when working with me. I approach each wedding first by taking the time to get to know you. After all, you are hiring me to photograph your day in a way that reflects you. It’s very important to me that we have many conversations that ultimately lead to you feeling incredibly comfortable with me, not only as your photographer, but an entrusted guide.
Before your wedding day arrives, you and I will spend as much time as we need conversing about the details of your day. Proactivity and promptness are two ways I like to ensure that you are never left with unanswered questions regarding the timeline of my services throughout our time working together.
I am here for you primarily as your photographer, but would gladly take on the role of creative consultant and counselor if you wanted me to. Together, we can work to plan your engagement session, vendor referrals, even craft your day-of timeline. I will provide my expertise to you every step of the way. Every wedding is different, and it’s important to me that we are all on the same page.
I have been a event planner for 22 years and I have worked with a lot of photographers. I have to say Kimmie is one of the most talented, polished and sincere vendors I've worked with.
